The College of Love and Nature is an innovative and alternative education resource for students to trek through a journey and help them uncover their lifelong goals and aspirations. In doing so, the individual will appreciate self-value and live a sustainable life in accordance to the nature of this world. The college is not for-profit. Our program and community are responsible to ensure that all happiness created are long-lasting. The program adopts a new pioneering curriculum that is vastly different from the mainstream teaching method – the Project-based learning (PBL) style of teaching by using love and nature as our main indicator of growth. This allows individuals to independently think on their own and go through periods of trial and error to experience real life. As it is not a theory-based curriculum, the college will help individuals discover and improve their true self through genuine developments. As the individual is released from all fears and self-doubt, they can truly observe the beauty of the world and dare to dream their wildest imaginations.

Challenges

Individuals find it increasingly difficult to find their true self and discover the happiness in the world. This has impacted the career choices they make or the classes they take, prohibiting many individuals from living a full-filling and endearing life. They face the following issues in their surroundings: Unable to understand self and appreciate the values of self-identity Unable to tell yourself what they truly want Unable to truly take action to things you are passionate or interested in As these issues continue to persist among the new generation, they are taken back from reaching their potential and becoming the person they are truly meant to be. These challenges pose a question to the everyday life principles we maintain – who are you, and what can you give to this world?

Solution

At the College of Love and Nature, we strongly believe that individuals should be given a “gap year” to truly understand how you want to live your life and the life principles you adhere that define your character. This gap year of learning program that will allow an individual to experience real life to know what they really like. This will allow the individual to become more in touch with his or her self, a caring community of like-minded individuals, and nature. Individuals will get to use your creativity through hands-on experience and make decisions that are aligned with the passion they have. The program will take the individual on a journey through living in farms, volunteer work, and many learning spaces all over the country. There is no lecture or assessment. There will be teachers along the journey guide your life. The only intended outcome of this one year journey is to make sure that all individuals truly discover themselves.
