มูลนิธิโลกสีเขียว ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี 1991 เป็นองค์กรไม่แสวงหาผลกำไร ทำหน้าที่สื่อสาร สร้างความตระหนักรู้ในประเด็นเรื่องสิ่งแวดล้อม เป็นคลังความรู้และเป็นที่พึ่งพาของสังคมไทยในเรื่องสิ่งแวดล้อมเป็นอย่างดี โดยมีจุดประสงค์เพื่อเผยแพร่ความรู้ ต่อสาธารณชนในเรื่องสิ่งแวดล้อมของไทย ผ่านสื่อหลากหลายรูปแบบ เพื่อให้คนเข้าถึงได้ง่าย มูลนิธิทำงานร่วมกับคนหลายกลุ่มไม่ว่าจะเป็นโรงเรียน ชุมชนท้องถิ่น ครู เด็ก และครอบครัว

ดร.บริพัตร ศิริอรุณรัตน์ ประธานกรรมการมูลนิธิ มุ่งมั่นที่จะคิดค้นและพัฒนาสร้างกระบวนการเรียนรู้กับชุมชนผ่านประสบการณ์จริง และเชื่อมโยงความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างคนกับธรรมชาติเข้าด้วยกัน เพื่อหวังจะสร้างสิ่งแวดล้อมที่ยั่งยืน และสามารถสร้างสังคมที่แข็งแกร่งสืบต่อไปในอนาคต ด้วยความเชื่อมั่นว่าการแก้ปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างยั่งยืน ขับเคลื่อนได้ด้วยพลังจากพลเมือง



The Green World Foundation was established in 1991 as a non-profit organization. It acts as a communicator and generates environmental awareness, serving as a repository of knowledge and a reliable source for Thai society on environmental matters. Its objective is to disseminate knowledge about Thailand's environment to the public through various forms of media for easy access. The foundation collaborates with various groups including schools, local communities, teachers, children, and families.

Dr. Boripat Siriaroonrat, the president of the foundation, is determined to invent and develop learning processes with communities through real experiences and to connect the relationship between humans and nature. The goal is to create a sustainable environment and a robust society for the future, with the firm belief that sustainable environmental problem-solving is driven by the power of citizens.

ฟื้นฟูความสัมพันธ์ของคนเมืองให้กลับมาเชื่อมต่อกับธรรมชาติอีกครั้ง จัดกิจกรรมกลางแจ้งเป็นประจำ เพื่อให้คนเมืองได้เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับสิ่งแวดล้อมรอบตัวและความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพที่แอบอาศัยอยู่ร่วมกับเราในเมือง หนึ่งในงานรณรงค์ของเรา คือ การส่งเสริมให้กรุงเทพเป็นเมืองจักรยาน เพื่อช่วยแก้ปัญหาหลายประการในเมือง ทั้งปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อม เศรษฐกิจ และสังคม ทำให้กรุงเทพเป็นเมืองน่าอยู่ทั้งสำหรับมนุษย์และชีวิตร่วมโลก



We aim to restore the relationship between city dwellers and nature by regularly organizing outdoor activities. These activities help urban residents learn about their surrounding environment and the biodiversity that cohabitates with us in the city. One of our campaigns promotes making Bangkok a bicycle-friendly city to help address various urban problems, including environmental, economic, and social issues. This will make Bangkok a more livable city for both humans and wildlife.
