Cheewid collects information when you visit our Website, or conduct activities or transactions on our Platforms. All technical information is automatically logged by our Partners.     We use Personal Information and other information to provide you services, process your donations, inform you about our products and services, and personalize communication that we believe will be of interest to you. These services allow us to personalize user experience and deliver quality contents. In specific activities, certain information is required to process your transactions and drive activities with our Partners. Other information about the information usage is described below
  • All of your profile and user content will be publicly viewable unless it is personally identifiable information

    Payment Transactions and Credit Card Information
    We do not process any underlying payments facilitated by the Website; payments are processed by the third-party providing payment services, currently includes PayPal. All credit information you input to create a transaction is encrypted using Security Sockets Layer [full term is suggested before abbreviation] (SSL) technology and sent to the payment provider. Only the Payment Gateway Provider has access to your credit card number. Cheewid does not have access to and will not be responsible to your credit card number or other related information. Data managed by our Payment Gateway Provider is subjected to the Payments Gateway Provider’s terms (i.e. PayPal) and privacy policy.
    Partner and Third-Party Activities
    We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer personally identifiable information to outside parties without advanced notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our Website, conducting our business related to the Services, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. However, we may release your information when it is appropriate to comply with the regulatory requirements, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety.
    Personal Information Access
    We share your personal information with other social enterprise and business partners who assist us in performing core services (such as hosting, data storage, security, due diligence, impact assessment, etc.) related to the operation of the campaigns and organization information.
    These social enterprise and business partners only use your Personal Information to perform these core services, which are necessary for the orderly operation for the Website’s purpose as an information portal.
    Any organization you make a donation to, inquire service and gifts through the Website will have access to your Personal Information (except for your credit card number); note that making a donation “anonymous“ as a “guest” only hides your donation from public activity feeds, not the underlying organization beneficiary as per Payment Gateway privacy statements[to check this defined term]. You consent to the foregoing and agree that we, “Cheewid.com,” are not responsible for how these organizations or organization representatives handle your Personal Information or any related information. Each organization has unique privacy policies and data usage practices that are operated through different means. When you use a link to go from our Website to another website, such as that of our payments processors, the privacy statement for the other website governs.     What is an Organization Profile?
    Each non-profit, school, hospital, social enterprise, social fundraiser, and social organization / individual that registers with the website is given an organization profile. The organization profile displays the organization’s active campaigns, projects, and updated information. Each organization’s information is made public and can be located via our internal search system or any external search engine.
    Organizations create a campaign profile to request for funding in a timely basis and through independent set of activities. A Campaign profile maintains its own budget and target mission, but remains a subset of the organization’s entity.
    What other information is public?
    Information you post on campaign pages, personal fundraising pages, an organization’s profile, or other public pages on the Website can be accessed and viewed by all site visitors. You should exercise caution when deciding to share information on public pages. We cannot influence and will not be responsible for those who can access shared information or how other parties will use that information.
    Can Children use the website?
    Our Website is for a general audience and is not targeted towards children. Children under 13 years of age are prohibited from using the Website per our Terms of Service. We fully comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and are obligated to help all involved law enforcements (Federal Trade Commission) to protect children’s private information and safety online.
    If your child has used the Website and submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will remove that information from the website and our database.
    Prevailing Language

    Compliance with Thai Law
    The service is based in Thailand and are under legal duties as a registered Thai business entity. We are not responsible for claims concerning content or user content that is viewed, downloaded, or consumed outside of Thailand. If you access the services and content from outside of Thailand, we are not bound to your country’s legal ramifications.
    The governing law shall be the law of Thailand. Privacy Policy contains a binding arbitration provision. You agree that, except for certain types of disputes described in the arbitration provision below, all disputes between you and Cheewid will be resolved by mandatory binding arbitration and you waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
    The arbitration shall be held under the auspices of the Thailand Arbitration Centre (“THAC”) and conducted in accordance with the THAC rules. Such arbitration shall be presided by one arbitrator who shall be appointed by the parties. Should the parties be unable to agree to the appointment of an arbitrator, the Director of the THAC shall appoint the arbitrator. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on the parties. As far as applicable, any award rendered shall be enforceable in accordance with Thai law. Notwithstanding the foregoing, judgment upon the award rendered may be entered in any court having jurisdiction or application may be made to such a court for judicial acceptance of the award and an order for enforcement ,as the case may be.
