มูลนิธิคนพิการไทย ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี 2000 เป็นองค์กรไม่แสวงหาผลกำไร ที่ติดต่อประสานความร่วมมือกับหน่วยงานต่างๆ ในการหาทุนสนับสนุนการดำเนินเงินของสมาคมคนพิการแห่งประเทศไทย ส่งเสริมสนับสนุนกิจกรรมที่เป็นประโยชน์แก่คนพิการทั่วประเทศ และกิจกรรมการผลิตรถเข็น รถโยกคนพิการ โดยคนพิการและเพื่อคนพิการในนาม "โรงงานไทยวีล" และการจัดทำแขน-ขาเทียมคนพิการ

กับญจา ศิลปอาชา ประธานกรรมการมูลนิธิคนพิการไทย ดำเนินงานโดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ คือ

1. ส่งเสริมกิจกรรมโครงการต่างๆ ของสมาคมคนพิการแห่งประเทศไทย และองค์กรสมาชิกของสมาคม
2. สนับสนุนงานด้านวิชาการและข้อมูลข่าวสารและอบรมพัฒนาแก่คนพิการในด้านต่าง ๆ
3. สนับสนุนบุคลากรที่ทำงานด้านคนพิการให้สมาคม
4. ส่งเสริม สนับสนุนกิจกรรมอันเป็นประโยชน์ต่อคนพิการทั่วประเทศ
5. บริหารและจัดการงานบริการจากสมาคมคนพิการแห่งประเทศไทย ตามนโยบายของสมาคม
6. ผลิตและพัฒนาเครื่องช่วยและอุปกรณ์คนพิการต่างๆ
7. ส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนการเล่นกีฬาของคนพิการ รวมทั้งจัดหาและผลิตอุปกรณ์ที่จำเป็นสำหรับการเล่นกีฬาประเภทต่างๆ



Thai with Disability Foundation was established in 2000 as a non-profit organization that liaises and collaborates with various agencies to raise funds to support the operations of the Disabled Association of Thailand. It promotes and supports activities beneficial to disabled people nationwide and production activities for wheelchairs and wheelers for the disabled by the disabled under the name "Thai Wheel Factory" and the production of prosthetics for the disabled.

Kanjana Silpa-Archa, Chairperson of the Thai with Disability Foundation, operates with the following objectives:

1. Promote various project activities of the Disabled Association of Thailand and the Association's member organizations.
2. Support academic work, news, and information, and provide training and development to disabled people in various fields.
3. Support personnel working in the field of disability for the Association.
4. Promote and support activities that are beneficial to disabled people nationwide.
5. Manage and provide services from the Disabled Association of Thailand, in accordance with the Association's policies.
6. Manufacture and develop various aids and equipment for disabled people.
7. Promote and support sports activities for the disabled, including sourcing and manufacturing necessary equipment for various types of sports.

โครงการของมูลนิธิคนพิการไทยได้เริ่มช่วยเหลือคนพิการด้วยการมอบรถเข็นนั่ง และแขน-ขาเทียม แก่คนพิการในชนบท โดยมีโครงการหลักดังนี้

• โครงการล้อเลื่อนเพื่อนคนพิการ เป็นโครงการหาทุนเพื่อซื้อรถเข็นนั่งมอบให้แก่คนพิการ
• โครงการ แขน-ขา เทียม เป็นโครงการหาทุนเพื่อจัดหา แขน-ขา เทียมและอุปกรณ์เสริมอื่นๆ แก่คนพิการ
• โครงการส่งเสริม และพัฒนาการพัฒนาคนพิการโดยชุมชน
• โครงการส่งเสริม และพัฒนาการศึกษาแก่เด็ก และคนพิการทั่วไป
• โครงการส่งเสริม และพัฒนากีฬาไทย

The projects of the Thai with Disability Foundation have begun to assist the disabled by providing wheelchairs and prosthetic arms and legs to those in rural areas, with the main projects as follows:

• "Wheels for Disabled Friends" project, a fundraising initiative for purchasing wheelchairs to give to people with disabilities.
• The "Prosthetic Arms and Legs" project is a fundraising initiative to provide prosthetics and other supplemental equipment for people with disabilities.
• The "Promotion and Development of Community-based Rehabilitation" project is for disabled people.
• The "Promotion and Development of Education for Children and General Disabled People" project.
• The "Promotion and Development of Thai Sports" project.
• The "Development of Leadership Potential for the Thai Disabled Network" project.
