มูลนิธิไทยรักษ์ป่า ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี 2002 เป็นองค์กรไม่แสวงหาผลกำไร ที่สนับสนุนการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อมและผืนป่าต้นน้ำลำธารที่สำคัญของประเทศให้เกิดความยั่งยืน มุ่งเน้นการป้องกัน การสร้างจิตสำนึก และสร้างพลังร่วมในการอนุรักษ์ผืนป่าต้นน้ำลำธาร ทั้งภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน ชุมชน โรงเรียน และองค์กรพัฒนาเอกชน ผ่านโครงการหลากหลายรูปแบบ ใน 3 พื้นที่การทำงาน คือ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช และจังหวัดชัยภูมิ

เริ่มต้นจากสำนึกรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม และความตั้งใจที่จะมีส่วนร่วมดูแลทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม เอ็กโก กรุ๊ป จึงมีปณิธานที่จะตามรอยเบื้องพระยุคลบาทของพระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร รัชกาลที่ 9 และสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ที่ทรงมีพระราชหฤทัยมุ่งมั่นอย่างยิ่งต่อการอนุรักษ์ป่าต้นน้ำ ซึ่งเป็นต้นทางของความอุดมสมบูรณ์ โดยปัจจุบันนายเทพรัตน์ เทพพิทักษ์ เป็นประธานมูลนิธิไทยรักษ์ป่า



Thai Rak Pa Foundation was established in 2002 as a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the conservation of important environmental and watershed forest areas in Thailand for sustainable development. The foundation focuses on prevention, raising awareness, and building collective strength in conserving watershed forest areas, involving various stakeholders such as government agencies, the private sector, communities, schools, and non-governmental organizations through diverse project initiatives. The foundation operates in three working areas: Chiang Mai Province, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, and Chaiyaphum Province.

It all began with a social responsibility and a determination to be actively involved in the care of natural resources and the environment. Echo Group aspires to follow in the footsteps of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit, who were deeply committed to forest conservation as the foundation for sustainable prosperity. Currently, Mr. Thepparat Theppitak serves as the chairman of Thai Rak Pa Foundation.

• ด้านการอนุรักษ์และฟื้นฟู

1. โครงการหมู่บ้านไทยรักษ์ป่า: ส่งเสริมคุณภาพชีวิต พร้อมกับสนับสนุนให้ชุมชนดูแลรักษาและอยู่ร่วมกับป่าอย่างยั่งยืน
2. โครงการพัฒนาอาชีพ
3. โครงการสร้างป่า สร้างรายได้: ฟื้นฟูป่าใน อ.แม่แจ่ม จ.เชียงใหม่
4. โครงการฟื้นฟูป่า รักษาตาน้ำ: การฟื้นฟูป่าภูหลงโดยอาศัยหลักวิชาการร่วมกับการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชน

• ด้านการสร้างความเข้มแข็งเครือข่ายชุมชน

1. โครงการเครือข่ายลุ่มน้ำ: สร้างความเป็นเจ้าของร่วมในทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ ดิน น้ำ ป่า ในลุ่มน้ำร่วมกัน

• ด้านการปลูกจิตสำนึกเยาวชนและประชาชน

1. โครงการเครือข่ายเยาวชนแต่ละภูมิภาค
2. โครงการพัฒนาเส้นทางศึกษาธรรมชาติ

ปัจจุบันได้ขยายพื้นที่การดำเนินงานไปยังป่าต้นน้ำที่สำคัญในภาคใต้ จ.นครศรีธรรมราช และภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ จ.ชัยภูมิ



Projects of the Foundation:

• Conservation and Restoration:

1. Thai Raksa Village Project: Promoting quality of life while supporting communities to sustainably care for and live in harmony with the forest.
2. Livelihood Development Project
3. Forest Regeneration and Income Generation Project: Restoring forests in Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai Province, while creating sustainable income opportunities.
4. Forest Restoration and Watershed Conservation Project: Rehabilitating Phulung Forest through academic collaboration and community participation.

• Community Network Strengthening:

1. Watershed Network Project: Creating joint ownership of natural resources, land, water, and forests in watershed areas.

• Instilling Awareness in Youth and the General Public:

1. Regional Youth Network Project
2. Natural Education Route Development Project

The Foundation has expanded its operations to important watershed forests in the southern region, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, and the northeastern region, Chaiyaphum Province.
