สถาบันสุขภาพจิตเด็กและวัยรุ่นราชนครินทร์ ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี 1953 เป็นคลินิกจิตเวชเด็กและวัยรุ่นให้บริการตรวจรักษาและให้คำปรึกษากับผู้ปกครองเกี่ยวกับเด็กที่มีปัญหาทางอารมณ์ พฤติกรรม ปัญหาด้านการเรียนรู้ ให้กับผู้ป่วยเด็กและวัยรุ่นตั้งแต่อายุ 2 ถึง 18 ปี โดยทีมสหวิชาชีพ ผ่านสายด่วนสุขภาพจิต เบอร์ 1323 โทรฟรี 24 ชั่วโมง

พญ.วิมลรัตน์ วันเพ็ญ ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันสุขภาพจิตเด็กและวัยรุ่นราชนครินทร์ มีความมุ่งมั่นที่จะทำให้สถาบันเป็นศูนย์กลางของงานสุขภาพจิตในแง่ของการปฏิบัติงาน ซึ่งเป็นทั้งการป้องกันก่อนเกิด ปัญหา และการแก้ไขปัญหาเสียแต่ในระยะเริ่มแรก และเผยแพร่ความรู้สู่ประชาชน ซึ่งทำโดยการเผยแพร่ความรู้ผ่านสื่อมวลชน การอบรมความรู้ให้แก่ผู้ใกล้ชิดเด็ก เช่น ครู ครูแนะแนว ซึ่งทำเป็นโครงการสุขภาพจิตโรงเรียน โรงเรียนพ่อแม่ และการจัดทำเอกสารเผยแพร่



Institute of Child and Adolescent Mental Health was established in 1953 as a child and adolescent psychiatric clinic, providing diagnostic, treatment, and consultation services to parents regarding children with emotional, behavioral, and learning issues. This service caters to child and adolescent patients ranging from 2 to 18 years old and is administered by an interdisciplinary team, available 24/7 through the mental health hotline number 1323.

Dr. Vimolrat Wanpen, the Director of the Institute of Child and Adolescent Mental Health, is committed to making the Institute the center of mental health work in terms of operations, which includes both prevention and problem-solving at the initial stage, and disseminating knowledge to the public. This is done by disseminating knowledge through mass media, providing training to those closely related to children, such as teachers and counselors, through projects like School Mental Health, and Parents' School, and producing informative documents for public distribution.
