สมาคมฟ้าสีรุ้งแห่งประเทศไทย ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี 1999 โดยกมลเศรษฐ์ เก่งการเรือ ได้เล็งเห็นว่าอัตราการติดเชื้อเอชไอวีในกลุ่มชายรักชายเพิ่มสูงขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง รวมทั้งปัญหาที่กลุ่มชายรักชายและผู้ที่มีความหลากหลายทางเพศยังถูกสังคมตีตรา และเลือกปฏิบัติ จึงได้ก่อตั้ง "ชมรมเส้นทางสีรุ้ง" ขึ้นมา เป็นการรวมตัวกันของอาสาสมัครให้ความรู้เรื่องการป้องกันการติดเชื้อเอชไอวีแก่กลุ่มเป้าหมาย ต่อมามีผู้ให้ความสนใจเป็นจำนวนมากและร่วมมาเป็นอาสาสมัครเพิ่มขึ้น จึงได้เปลี่ยนชื่อเป็น "กลุ่มฟ้าสีรุ้ง" และในปี 2003 ได้จดทะเบียนขึ้นในชื่อ "สมาคมฟ้าสีรุ้งแห่งประเทศไทย"

สมาคมฟ้าสีรุ้งแห่งประเทศไทย มีเป้าหมายในการดำเนินงาน คือ บุคคลที่มีความหลากหลายทางเพศได้รับการปกป้อง คุ้มครองด้านสิทธิมนุษยชน เข้าถึงสิทธิประโยชน์และสวัสดิการของรัฐอย่างครอบคลุมและเท่าเทียม ปัจจุบันมีการดำเนินโครงการด้านสุขภาพรณรงค์ป้องกันเอชไอวี ในกลุ่มชายมีเพศสัมพันธ์กับชาย สาวประเภทสอง หญิงรักหญิง คนข้ามเพศ รวมถึงการทำงานประเด็นเรื่องสิทธิมนุษยชนของผู้ที่มีความหลากหลายทางเพศ



Rainbow Sky Association of Thailand was established in 1999 by Kamon Setaengkham. Kamon recognized that the rate of HIV infection among men who have sex with men was continuously increasing. Additionally, men who have sex with men and individuals of diverse sexual orientations were still being stigmatized and discriminated against by society. As a result, the "Rainbow Path Club" was founded as a group of volunteers providing education on HIV prevention to the target groups. Over time, interest grew, and more volunteers joined, prompting a name change to "Rainbow Sky Group." In 2003, it was officially registered as the "Rainbow Sky Association of Thailand."

Rainbow Sky Association of Thailand aims to ensure that individuals of diverse sexual orientations are protected and have their human rights safeguarded, with comprehensive and equal access to the rights, benefits, and welfare provided by the state. Currently, the association implements health projects that campaign for HIV prevention among men who have sex with men, transgender women, lesbian women, and transgender individuals, as well as working on human rights issues for people of diverse sexual orientations.

• ปัจจุบันมีสำนักงานและศูนย์กิจกรรม 7 แห่งทั่วประเทศ ได้แก่ กรุงเทพมหานคร สมุทรปราการ ปทุมธานี นนทบุรี ชลบุรี อุบลราชธานี และสงขลา มีเจ้าหน้าที่ปฏิบัติงานมากกว่า 80 คน และอาสาสมัครมากกว่า 1,000 คน
• โครงการ Test and Treat ให้บริการตรวจเชื้อเอชไอวีและรักษาด้วยยาต้านไวรัสทันที ให้กับผู้ที่ตรวจเลือดแล้วพบว่ามีเชื้อเอชไอวี



• Currently, there are 7 offices and activity centers across the country, including in Bangkok, Samut Prakan, Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi, Chonburi, Ubon Ratchathani, and Songkhla, with more than 80 staff members and over 1,000 volunteers.
• The Test and Treat program offers HIV testing and immediate antiretroviral treatment to those who have tested positive for HIV.
