สวนผักคนเมืองเชียงใหม่ ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี 2020 คือโครงการที่เกิดจากความตั้งใจที่จะต่อสู้กับปัญหาสภาวะขาดแคลนอาหาร โดยมีทีมสถาปนิกใจบ้านสตูดิโอได้ทำงานร่วมกับกลุ่มภาคีเครือข่ายภาคประชาชน และภาครัฐ นำแนวคิดสวนผักคนเมืองเข้ามาใช้แก้ปัญหาเพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับบริบทของวางผังพื้นที่

สวนผักคนเมืองเชียงใหม่เป็นพื้นที่สาธารณะและแหล่งเรียนรู้ให้คนเมือง หลังการเกิดขึ้นของสวนผักผลิตผลจากสวนได้ช่วยเป็นแหล่งอาหารแก่กลุ่มผู้มีรายได้น้อย เป็นพื้นที่เรียนรู้การเกษตรของนักเรียนจากโรงเรียนและพื้นที่อื่นๆ ในละแวกเดียวกัน เป็นพื้นที่สาธารณะสีเขียวที่เข้าถึงง่ายของชาวเมืองเชียงใหม่ ตลอดจนเป็นพื้นที่ที่ได้สร้างความร่วมมือของเครือข่ายต่างๆ ให้เกิดขึ้น



Chiangmai Urban Farm was established in 2020. It is a project born out of the determination to combat the issue of food scarcity. The architectural team from Jai Baan Studio collaborated with a network of public sector and state entities, introducing the concept of an urban vegetable garden as a solution tailored to fit the context of spatial planning.

Chiangmai Urban Farm serves as a public space and a learning center for the city's residents. Following its establishment, the garden has provided food for lower-income groups, acted as an agricultural learning site for students from schools and other local institutions, and offered a readily accessible green public space for the people of Chiang Mai. Additionally, it has fostered collaboration among various networks.

สร้างความรู้สึกเชื่อมโยงกับพื้นที่สาธารณะ ช่วยให้มีอาหารสำหรับชุมชนในพื้นที่ใกล้เคียง อีกทั้งเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้ เพื่อแบ่งปันให้ผู้ที่สนใจให้เข้าไปศึกษาเรียนรู้ และสร้างคุณค่าให้แก่พื้นที่



It creates a sense of connection with public spaces, providing food for the nearby community. Moreover, it serves as a learning resource, open for those interested to study and gain knowledge, and adds value to the area.
