มูลนิธิสุขภาพจิตโรงพยาบาลสวนปรุง เป็นองค์กรไม่แสวงหาผลกำไร เนื่องจากโรงพยาบาลสวนปรุงมีผู้ป่วยจิตเวชที่ไร้ญาติไม่สามารถออกไปใช้ชีวิตร่วมกับสังคมภายนอกโรงพยาบาลได้ หรือไม่มีที่พักอาศัยต้องเร่ร่อนไปตามสถานที่ต่างๆ อันเป็นปัญหายุ่งยากแก่สังคม นอกจากนี้ยังมีผู้ป่วยจิตเวชที่ได้รับการรักษาจนอาการทุเลาแล้วแต่ญาติยังไม่พร้อมที่จะรับผู้ป่วยกลับ เนื่องจากมีฐานะยากจน และไม่มีค่าพาหนะและค่าดูแลรักษาผู้ป่วย คณะข้าราชการและบุคลากรโรงพยาบาลสวนปรุง พิจารณาและพร้อมใจกันหาทุนเพื่อก่อตั้งมูลนิธิสุขภาพจิตโรงพยาบาลสวนปรุง เพื่อช่วยเหลือผู้ป่วยจิตเวชที่ไร้ญาติ และที่มีฐานะยากจนให้ได้รับการช่วยเหลือและการรักษาอย่างต่อเนื่อง ปัจจุบัน ดร. ชินเวศ สารสาส เป็รประธานมูลนิธิสุขภาพจิตโรงพยาบาลสวนปรุง



Suanprung Mental Health Foundation is a non-profit organization. It was established because Suanprung Hospital has mental patients without relatives who cannot integrate into society outside the hospital, or who have no residence and are forced to wander various places, creating a complex problem for society. Furthermore, there are mental patients who have received treatment until their condition has improved, but their relatives are not ready to take the patients back due to their poverty and the lack of resources for transportation and patient care. The civil servants and personnel of Suanprung Hospital considered and collectively sought funding to establish the Suanprung Psychiatric Hospital Foundation to assist mental patients without relatives and those in poverty to receive continuous aid and treatment. Currently, Dr. Shinwet Sarasas is the president of the Suanprung Mental Health Foundation.
